　いつの間にやら、円楽は、落語会のプリンスだったみたいな話になっている。
　違うぞ。
　いや、大筋では間違いではないのかもしれない。若い頃の円楽師匠はダンディーだった。おしゃれでもあったし、女性ファンだっていたのだと思う。

　でも、世間が円楽を「星の王子様」と呼んでいたのかというと、そういうことはなかった。
「星の王子様」は、本人がシャレで名乗っていた名前で、彼はそれで笑いを取っていた。馬面の大男が「王子様」を自称することの可笑しさ。その力加減が絶妙だった。そういうことだ。
